Hi, I had this same issue several times during my studies, and every time it was an issue with the Trust Agent on the host. I used proctorlabs so it meant putting a call into the support guys (Drew and Ryan) to reinstall the CTA software. Not sure whether this is a bug or an issue with CTA in VMware but the reinstall was the only thing that worked for me.
