And per the diagram in the WB and the initial configs for Yousef's lab 1 it is different. In both of those and the diagram that you handed out at the 2/15 bootcamp, R2 fa1/1 is connected to Cat3 fa0/2.
Anyways, it created quite a bit of confusion for me this morning. The other issue that I ran into was the switch connected to R5. If Cat 3 maps to sw1 and Cat 4 to sw2 (sw1 and sw2 being the labels in Yousef's book) then the wrong cat is connected to R5. I assume that is simply due to topology changes required to map the config into the Proctor labs rack, no biggey, I don't think it causes any other issues, it just threw me for a loop trying to figure it out since I ran into at the same time as the notconnect between R2 and Cat3. I'll see what I can out. As far as the topology goes, have you downloaded the latest diagram from the members area of ipexpert.com? I know there was a correction not too long ago. When I look at the base security topology R2 has a connection to cat1 fa0/2, gi0/2 and cat2 fa0/2. Is this what you're referring to?
