Hi Jimmy,

I can honestly say, that I'll join you with regards to lack of labtime. I tried to schedule the complete two weeks between the bootcamp and my exam (1 jun), but a movement of a customer and a conference came in between :-S

But hey, it's the third attempt and I will book some labtime, hopefully in advance as well. I work as a consultant as well ;-)

Kind regards
Pieter-Jan

Hi

I have reserved a room at Crown Plaza hotel which is (please confirm!) the hotel where the bootcamp will be held.

According to google maps, the hotel is actually in the Airport campus, only a few minutes by taxi or bus.

This will be a blast! I just wish I had more rack-time before the bootcamp. I am afraid that I will have most of my lab-preparation done AFTER the bootcamp which was not my original idea. Anyone ever been working as a consultant know what I mean when I say that making money is always highest priority. ;/

I have been to the airport (Schiphol) dozens of times but I have never seen the problem so I have no idea about transportations. But Schiphol is a big airport and is always filled with taxis so I am quite sure that there will be no problem getting a cab ad-hoc at arrival. At least that what I will do. Just remember that Dutch taxis do not always take credit cards. Bring some euros...

Just curious where people are staying for the Amsterdam CCIE Security Class and if you are using public transportation from the airport.  I am staying at the hotel that the class is being held in, and my plan is for ground transportation from the airport to the hotel.  Anyone familiar with the area know if that's a good plan?

Also, for those of you that are not scheduled for the class in May I think we may have 1 seat left.  Better hurry up and book it.
