Hi Kingsley - Yes, I really feel that the Volume 2 labs (as painful as they
are to get through) really helped me. I really worked hard on those. Yusufs
labs were great too. They helped with the type of questions you are asked.
The OEQ's were not difficult, but I would recommend buying the Cisco Press
Flash Cards. I spent the last 3 days going over them and they really helped
me.

As far as time management goes I followed others advice and spent 45 minutes
drawing the lab and reading it over before I started. This really helped
because I had one drawing with everything in it. I did not waste time
flicking through the drawings they give you, which are not that great. I
saved time because I knew the topology better also

I did finish in 6 hours but I I had one VPN that would just not work and I
wasted the last 90 miutes on it instead of trying to sure up the points i
already had. My stubborness would not let me let the points go. When Yusuf
came in and said time was up I was caught off guard. I did not spend enough
time checking my previous work. I should have let it go and made sure of
all the other points.

Also dont be scared to speak to the Proctor - there are mistakes on the
drawings and the odd question that is unclear.

And...... The doc site was not available for a couple of hours in the lab
either and kept dropping routinely also.

I really feel the lab was tough but fair - alot easier than the IPE vol 2
labs :) It is passable. It probably sounds cheesy but just follow the
advice on this forum and from the IPE instructors and you will get there.

Hi Everyone - I passed the lab in Sydney today - and even got Yusuf as my
proctor. I dont think he likes me very much (I bugged the life out of him)

Thanks to everyone who helped me - Tyson and Brandon you were both
fantastic, Jamie and Dave (the two Nerds), Armando, Ville, Kingsley etc and
everyone else on the list.

The exam was tough but fair. The Volume 2 labs and the OWLE is what enabled
me to pass first time (and the help I received from everyone)

Thanks Again

Michael

P.S Jamie and Dave - I only call you nerds because I admire you.
