I got bit this morning my vtp on one of the vracks. One of the switches had a vtp config that was different from the others. I looked into the running config and didn't see any vtp config so started looking for other causes. When I eventually got back to vtp I discovered that the domain and password where not the same as the other switches. It was a valuable debug experience. J
What I want to know is where is the vtp config actually stored since it wasn't in the running or startup configs? Even now that everything is working the statements that I modified in the config don't show up when I do a "show run". Is "show vtp stat" the only way to view the vtp config?
