All,
I'm going through question 3.2 (Yusuf-LAB2) and the question says not to use
"Tunnel Destination" under the tunnel interface. My doubt is simple.. Is there
any specific scenario where it would be interesting to apply this command on a
DMVPN configuration? Anyway, I'm still trying to figure out the 'idea' of this
command on a DMVPN network..
If we want a Spoke-to-Spoke communication to work properly we know that the HUB
must preserve the next-hop.. specifically when we have EIGRP we must use "NO
IP NEXT-HOP-SELF EIGRP <AS>" as well as turn off Split Horizon (not enabled by
default), is that right? Everything to avoid U-turns! Is there any situation
where I am expected to configure these commands on SPOKEs?
At last, I'd appreciate any inputs or guidance on PIM.. (I haven't finished the
whole lab, but I saw some PIM commands configured under the Tunnel0 on R1-HUB..
is it a 'spare' configuration?)
Tks again;
Carlos Jardim
