There still exists a trial-version of ACS 4.1 even if the download link is
hard to find.

I have my ACS installed in vmware workstation which works really great. In
bridged mode the win2003-server has its own ip on my local LAN. I have done
a snapshot of the server post-ACS-installation which I revert to to wipe all
ACS-settings I have done, and also a pre-ACS-installation that I revert to
every 90 days.. ;)
