Hi All,

Just read in CCO that :

Restrictions for Configuring Authentication Proxy

•The authentication proxy triggers only on HTTP connections.

•HTTP services must be running on the standard (well-known) port, which is
port 80 for HTTP.

Uptil now I was under impression that, auth-proxy works for HTTP, Telnet and
FTP ports. But as per CCO doc, it is only for HTTP on 80 port.

Can somebody explain this.

Regards,

DMG
