Jimmy,

The initial configurations are setup to mimic his devices as close as
possible. The racks are built for IPexpert workbooks but I put those
configurations up there as a favor to everyone. When you login to the
devices you will have the device names based on the initial configurations
that load. The Yusuf device name to Our device names are not going to match
based on the interface requirements of his equipment.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Security] Yusuf Lab 1 - r5/r6 device mixup?

Hello

I work on Yusufs lab 1 in proctor labs. I immediately see a few confusions:

1) The switches are mixed up. I see that sw1 in yusuf lab is Cat3 and so on.
I have a vague feeling that Ive read about that on OSL before.

2) R6 and R5 are swapped. The Proctor Labs R5 device is named and configured
as Yusufs R6 and vice versa. I have reverted the pod twice just to verify.

Questions:

Is this R5/R6-mixup by purpose? I cant recall that Ive read about int
before.

Are there any more good-to-know:s when it comes to device setup of Yusuf
labs on proctorlabs gear that I shoule be aware of?

Maybe it´´s time to put together a FAQ?

Br Jimmy
