Hi all When we are asked to configure for snmp v3, we need to configure the snmp remote-engine ID. This is necessary as the user password's are localized using the hashing algorithm and engine ID.
In the labs, if the remote engine is not given in the tasks then we need to configure a dummy remote engine ID, am I right? Also the link claims that the remote engine ID is required for informs only.
