Thanks for the help.

I checked the vlans before I sent the e-mail, saw switchport trunk allowed
vlan 10, 20 and assumed the vlan's were already configuredJ.

Just so that I understand what I am doing wrong in my troubleshooting. Vlan
10 was not configured on SW2 and you have added it now?

You haven't created the L2 VLAN. I went ahead and did that. It doesn't
look like many VLAN's have been created on Cat2 so you may want to check
that out. Just 10 and 450.

Hi,

The IPS gives a connection error: cannot connect to ntp server or ntp server
is not running; when applying the NTP config.

The NTP server is R1. From the ACS (10.1.1.100) I cannot ping 10.1.1.1. I
can ping the IPS (10.1.1.15) from ACS.

After some checking I found that no switch (vlan), IPS or ACS can ping
10.1.1.12, the VLAN10 interface on cat2 where R1 is connected to. R1 cannot
ping VLAN10.

Something wrong on cat2 or the rack?

Thanks
