Hi Kingsley

It doesnt drop connection for the domain. Alll it does is to drop the
connection if mail will be relayed to any other domain EXCEPT the local domain.

Thanks and regards

Hi all

Can someone please let me know the function of "mail-relay" command. The
command reference claims that it is used to configure the local domain name.

But why do we configure "drop-connection" for the domain.

hostname(config)# policy-map type inspect esmtp esmtp_map

hostname(config-pmap)# parameters

hostname(config-pmap-p)# mail-relay mail action drop-connection

With regards
Kings
