Hi all

Router sends Proxy ARPs when it knows the route for the host for which an
ARP request is sent.

A router can't have two interface in the same subnet. A host sends ARP
request for the host in the same subnet or to the default gateway's IP
address. Since the hosts sends an ARP request to
the default gateway directly for other subnet's host, why would need a Proxy
ARP.

Where would Proxy ARP have it's role?

With regards
Kings
