I didn't realize that you could get the same one again. I thought they
changed it up every time that you got it. Hopefully I will get the same
one and can nail the open ended questions this time.

I used IPExpert VoD, and labs twice a week. Make sure that you get the
flash cards by Yusuf. I wish I would have got those sooner. Study
those and you should do well on the OEQ. Also the practice labs by
Yusuf. Those labs are very similar to how the lab will be graded and
questions that are asked.

There was a security student that got the same lab 3 times in a row.
Definitely not the norm but anything is possible.

They change out the labs time to time so the content isn't the same. I
am sure they know which lab they gave you the first time so you don't
see it again the second time.

I understand the pain Aaron, next time you it will a easy pass for you
:-)

I didn't get what did you mean by word "new exam" in the following
statement of your's:

"Now I have to go back and possibly do worse (since it will be a new
exam)."

Is the new CCIE Sec lab with TS coming up?

With regards
Kings

I just wanted to let everyone know that I didn't pass the lab. Out of
everything that could have went wrong, I got a bunch of items that I
didn't study hard for, but that's not the kicker. I actually passed my
lab part. I missed passing by one question (OEQ). I got a 50% on the
OEQ part and PASS on the lab part.

I guess I will wait my 30 days and try again. Needless to say I was very
aggravated, but just knowing that I was able to pass is a good feeling.
Now I have to go back and possibly do worse (since it will be a new
exam).

Good luck to everyone trying and remember it doesn't matter if you know
all the lab sections and how to do everything on the lab. If you don't
know the OEQ then your might as well quit now.

Thanks

Aaron
