Either will work. If you want to keep it consistent for your sanity then do
the first one.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Security] Lab 19 , Task 7.2

Hello All,

In this FPM task, we are asked to match a pattern of 0x0030 ( 2 bytes ) from
the start of IP header

I would configure this as follows :

"match start l3-start offset 3 size 2 eq 0x0030"

But the solution configures this as :

"match start l3-start offset 3 size 2 eq 0x30"

Can someone tell me what the mistake is in the first one?

Cheers!

TacACK
