Hello Wale, I'm not sure that the above example can be classified as *PAM *. In PAM, we are instructing the router to consider traffic on BOTH port 21 and port 21021 as FTP control traffic. This way, suppose if ftp inspection is applied anywhere, it will affect traffic coming in on both port 21 and port 21021.
In THIS case, if we remove the *inspect ftp* from the class inspection_default, then only the FTP traffic arriving on port 21021 will be inspected. Traffic arriving on port 21(default FTP) will not be inspected. Again, i could be wrong. If so , please correct me. Cheers, TacACK
