That's a loaded question and it probably depends on how you word it. He/She
won't give you answers but if you show you understand the problem but are
not sure which approach is needed, they might push you in the right
direction. Sorry I can't offer more than that.

Thanks Hammer for your response, However In Yusuf's lab1 it was applied to
control-plane global (aggregate path) and I was some solution same kind of
question it was applied to Control-plane host sub-interface.

My question is that... will the proctor help in clarifying such things
during the lab exam...??

I think that would depend on the question. Obviously it would go on the
control-plane global. I think whether or not you applied to the inbound
interface would depend on the question. When in doubt, ask the proctor.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Security] Control Plane Policing

Hi,

When a question ask to configure policing on management traffic (telnet/ssh)
do we need to apply it on control-plane host interface (host path) or just
under control-plane global (aggregate path)...?

I saw couple to places on some workbook it is applied to control-plane host
sub-interface and appreciate some one can confirm the correct solution...

thanks
