Hey all,
When I try to connect IDM to the IPS it loads to the front page ('Health
Dashboard') and then after a few moments IDM throws an error "Error
connecting to sensor. Failed to create sensor - 10.10.73.18:443. Exiting
IDM". Has anyone seen this?
I've erased IPS config and reloaded the 4240. I've cleared IE and java cache
and reloaded both XP and ACS (happens from both machines). The XP machine is
on the same subnet and vlan as the IPS so there should be a direct
connection between then. IPS config is very basic:
service host
network-settings
host-ip 10.10.73.18/24,10.10.73.23
host-name IPS
telnet-option enabled
access-list 10.10.34.0/24
access-list 10.10.50.0/24
access-list 10.10.53.0/24
access-list 10.10.73.0/24
exit
exit
Any help much appreciated !
