thanks for confirming Nick et al.  i really hope that 3rd OEQ i need to pass
is asking something about the difference between these signatures.

i found the following pieces of information in the back of the Cisco 3.0
security practice labs.  no such disclaimers on the OEQ flash cards however,
nor does the "help" link appear to go anywhere besides /dev/null.

perhaps i will contact them some day...
