hi guys

i would really appreciate if some one can help me in understading this problem

I have attached a diagram

we have 3 sites A , B and C

We only take care of Core Switches at each site

Intersite routing is managed by other service provider they are running RIP
between there routers SPA, B, & C

by default all internet traffic from Site B should go to Site C.

We send all our traffic that is not local to Sp Routers of that site and it
desides where it need to go , and i knows about all subnets at each site.

Now we have installed a new faster internet link at Site A and we want our
proxy server B to send some specific internet subnet i.e (1.1.1.0/24) traffic
via faster link. for this I have created route map saying any traffic from
Proxy server B to 1.1.1.0/24 next hop is Site A router (Red color one connected
to Fast Internet)
but it is not working .

The reasone I can understand is that as the packet reaches SP router some thing
goes wrong. I am looking for technical justification for this what happens to
the next hop address field in the packet when it hit SP router.

Really appreciate any sort of help to undersatnd this gismo .

Kashif
