Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Security] NTP configuration with "peer" command
Hi All,
I want to verify correctness of following NTP configuration:
R2 is supposed to be NTP server and R3 needs to synchronize to R2
R2:
R2#sh run | in ntp
ntp authentication-key 1 md5 104D000A0618 7
ntp authenticate
ntp trusted-key 1
ntp master 2
R3 :
R3#sh run | in ntp
ntp authentication-key 1 md5 02050D480809 7
ntp authenticate
ntp trusted-key 1
ntp peer 8.8.4.2 (8.8.4.2 is R2's Fa0/0 ip address)
Will R3 synchronize its clock from R2? any other configuration is required to
work?
Regards,
DMG
