You can emulate ASA 5520 and IDS 4235 on GNS3 easily . However there were some 
features which I had problems with like when i loaded anyconnect client to ASA 
flash the QEMU crashed . Or I couldn't do IPS in promiscuous mode beacuse the 
NM-16ESW module dont support  . So for these parts you can do rack rentals . If 
Active Active failover doesnt work on GNS3 ASA you can try emulating PIX ( I 
did this way ) . 
The IPS Part is focused towards IDM and I dont think the SA520 supports IDM . 
I took me 11 hours of rack rental to do Promiscuous labs .
