If you don't want "?" character to be treated as a help command, press
Ctrl-V or Esc-Q before typing "?".

And I wouldn't rely on the documentation so much during the exam as it can
be very time-consuming - unless your know *exactly* where to find
particular subject. If I were you I'd try to memorize this URL. But this is
of course my personal opinion.
