Imre,

The solution is wrong. The starting time would be 08:00. The ending time
is correct.

Thanks,

Hi guys,

The task is to create a time based ACL in a way that the filtering should
be applied only during work-hours, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm

the provided solution is:

time-range RESTRICT

 periodic weekdays 7:59 to 16:59

I'm confused about the starting interval, why 7:59 and not 8:00 ?

I can explain the ending time 16:59 with the output below, however even for
that the cisco doc has a different solution.

Rack8R6(config-time-range)#periodic weekdays 07:59 to ?

hh:mm Ending time - stays valid until beginning of next minute

cisco doc example:
Example

The following example denies HTTP traffic on Monday through Friday between
the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

time-range no-http

 periodic weekdays 8:00 to 18:00

Thanks!
