Weird. In any case, how does the size parameter matter. I mean, the size <value> denotes the size of search space, not the size of search string, right? So it does not really matter if the size is 2, 4 256 or even 1500, as long as it finds the string FFFF somewhere in that space.
I always had trouble getting the string based matching to work(maybe i am not using it correctly). So i stick to regex now :-)
