Regarding vWSA licensing, I have had luck with contacting the Cisco Global
Licensing Team and requesting a short-term license to use for study
purposes. This was quite a long process because the licensing team had to
get approval from the product manager, but my exam isn't until October 7th
so that was fine. I am very grateful for the approval because it is one less
thing I have to depend on rack time for.

There is no NFR license for this product due to a couple of things:
* Cisco has to pay royalties to various 3rd parties for the duration of each
license issued.
* There is no user-specification for IronPort WSA, which means that a
NFR/Eval/Demo license could be used for a production WSA in any size
environment.
The license that they've granted me is a full-featured 30-day license, which
I believe is more than sufficient time to prepare for WSA topics on the
exam. I cannot guarantee that the "begging" method will work for you,
perhaps they granted the license because I work for a Cisco Gold Partner or
perhaps they will do the same for anyone else who requires the license for
study purposes. It's worth a shot!

Kind Regards,
Kevin Sheahan

Refurb on eBay? Do you also have WSA as well? Their license is much more
restrictive on WSA. What about vWLC?
