Hi Shai,
We are aware of this mistake in lab 1.
As a workaround please use a frame-relay PVC instead. Don't do
anything fancy with bridging, just take the Frane-Relay PVC from R2 to
R5.
We will make sure to fix it with the next update round.F

Hello all,
This has been discussed before – but even though I have looked at
all my emails regarding this I could not get this to work.
To make a long story short – the base connectivity of the 7200/ATM
rack shows R2 connected to R4 connected to R5 , while the SP Volume
II lab 1 uses a R2-R5 link which isn't there.
It was recommended before to use frame-relay bridging on R4 to
simulate that link in order to make the base connectivity work – but
I could not.
I also tried PPP as someone mentioned in a previous thread –
couldn't make that work either.
I reverted the POD and moved to lab 2 on VOL II – and plan to retake
this lab tomorrow.
If anyone been through this and has a working config of R2-R4-R5
that simulates a direct link between R2 and R5 – please share it..
IPexpert team – I think someone from your side should at least think
about publishing a workaround for this as this breaks the L2
connectivity of the lab and thus can lead to many many hours of
frustration …..
