You definitively need to be familiar with AToM and L2TPv3 for the lab,
regardless whether it's covered on workbooks or what people say. I quote
Rick's suggestions days before my first SP attempt: focus on the entire
blueprint and will get you well prepared. I keep this in mind for my next
attempt on June.
