There were no mention of the either. In fact, there was not even mention of the new hardware. I'm not entirely happy with the information available as of right now, but the new exam is coming in 6 months. There is plenty of time to prepare for it and I'm sure Cisco will publish additional information.
Now, here's MY opinion: - OEQ will stay until they are removed from other tracks. Remember, OEQs don't exist only for tracks where there was a failed waiver program for unprepared students. - There will be significant troubleshooting portion, but I don't expect a dedicated section on it. The reason why is that IOS XR can't, to the best of my knowledge, be virtualized. Dedicated TS section would require two hardware pods per student and that's unrealistic. If they focus troubleshooting only on IOS virtualized in IOU, half of the blueprint is off the troubleshooting section, as it cannot be properly emulated. -- Marko Milivojevic - CCIE #18427 Senior Technical Instructor - IPexpert FREE CCIE training: http://bit.ly/vLecture Mailto: [email protected] Telephone: +1.810.326.1444 Web: http://www.ipexpert.com/ On Wed, Oct 20, 2010 at 05:44, Service Provider <[email protected]> wrote: > Let me rephrase the question. > > Will the new SP lab exam include a 2-hour troubleshooting section?
