There are always some possibilities -maybe start with one of the big providers 
to get access to XR and VPLS and PBB equipment
They have their own labs with all the eq you'll need

I'll be the first to admit that I'm dropping this track altogether.  There is 
no chance of a lab seat before May 2011.  

There is also no clear path to getting access to the gear necessary to pass the 
SP track.  As frustrating as it is to drop this track, I feel like there is no 
other choice.  Remote racks will not exist, if ever, for quite some time.  It's 
too expensive for any company to built out racks with this kind of equipment.  

Cisco got it very wrong this time.
