Hello Experts, I have some quastion? Does any one in the maling list have any experience with deploying MPLS/L3VPN over mGRE or mgre (RIV) routing in vrf RFC 2547.
I have to deploy over 2000 PE over non mpls enabeld transport/ ip transport those 2k PE should terminate at RR which is a P router at the same time. I would like to use multipoint GRE tunnels for the easy of configurations to have 1 mgre on the RR-P1 and from there normal mpls core. So between PE1 and RR-P1 mpls frames are droped need to be encapsulated inside IP (stuiped dslam bridge-mode) and from RR-P1 to the rest of the network can be transported using mpls. Topology: 2k PE1<--->(RR-P1)<------->(RR-P2)<------->(PE2) As far as i can find all the mgre soulotions are between PE-to-PE not PE-to-P?
