Mark,

When you place a resource to a MRG, it is no longer in the Null MRG. It
can still be assigned to any other MRG.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] <Null> media resource group and
configuredMRG/MRGL's

I understand that a media resource when created is placed in the <null>
media resource group, you then move it to a defined resource group to
restrict access. I have also read on CCO to restrict complete access to
a resource, create a "noUserMRG" place the resource in this MRG and do
not assign it to any MRGL. What this says to me is, once you have placed
it into a defined MRG it is no longer available to the <null> and there
by any other MRG. I have CCM 4.1(3)sr6 loaded at home and have seen this
on all POD's so far at Proctor.......I move a resource to a defined MRG
and it is still available in the <null> and there by still available to
all MRG's. This does not seem to work as designed and specified in the
SRND.

Cheers!
