Both work- unless specified you have the choice. 

On the 3725 with NM-ESW you must use the trunking method.

IPExpert and another from Cisco:

 switchport mode trunk

>From Cisco CCM SRND:


int fa0/1
 switchport access 150
 switchport voice vlan 250


Which way are they looking for on the exam?
