Thanks for the info Vik. So i guess i misunderstood the question #42 of the
Voice Bootcamp lab 2.

Q#42 ask to create a DN 1005 for Tech Support with HQ PH3 and BR1 PH3 as the
members of the group. The call to 1005 should alternate back and forth between
these 2 phones equally every 8 seconds if nobody answers. After 40 seconds,
send the call to ICD queue.

So then how would you create a line group with these 2 phones as the members
and have the call last for 40 seconds since the RNA reversion timeout is only 8
seconds? Because after 16 seconds of ringing (8 seconds for the 1st phone and
another 8 seconds for the second phone), the call gets terminated.

Am I missing something or not understanding the question correctly?

JD

Once CCM has tried to ring a member of the huntgroup (which does not answer)
there is no going back.

Circular means that the entry point (first member dialed) into the line group
is rotated. So if extns 1001, 1002 and 1003 are in a line group, 1001 will be
the first line that rings. For the second call, 1002 will be first. For the
third call 1003 will be first. For the fourth call 1001 will be first. And so
on.

CCIE_Voice] CCM Line Group Hunting
Hello, Is it possible to have the circular hunting option working in CCM? I
created a Line Group with 2 members with the circular hunting option, but it's
not working as i expected. Shouldn't it hunt on the first member then on to
the second member if the first member does not answer then back to the first
member if the second member does not answer and continue like that in a
circular path until either someone answers or the forward hunting options take
effects? With my configuration of 2 members and circular hunting option, the
call get terminated after ringing the second member with no answer. Is there a
switch to turn it on so it works properly? :) Any info is greatly
appreciated. Thanks. JD
