Of course Jacob, here is the table for G711, you just needed to change the
payload to 160 in relation to the calculations of g729
Anyway is much more probable you will need during the lab the table of g729
since a common requirement is using that codec for calls by the WAN , then try
to focus on memorize that one.

G711 FRF.12 (rounded value)Kbps MLPPP(rounded value)Kbps

cRTP Disabled 84 87
cRTP Enabled 69 72

--------------------------------------------------------------

SCENARIO 1

g711 , cRTP Disabled, FRF.12

RTP HEADER 40bytes

FR HEADER-FRF12 8 bytes

PAYLOAD 160 bytes

TOTAL 208 bytes

 208 * 8 = 1664 bits

 BW 1664 * 50 = 83,200 BW = 83,2 kbps (rounded to 84)

----------------------------------------------------------
SCENARIO 2

G711, cRTP Enabled, FRF.12

RTP HEADER 4bytes

FR HEADER-FRF12 8 bytes

G729 PAYLOAD 160 bytes

TOTAL 172 bytes

172 * 8 = 1376 bits

1376 * 50 = 68,800 BW = 68,8 kbps (Rounded to 69)

-------------------------------------------------------------
SCENARIO 3

g729 , cRTP Disabled, MLPPP

RTP HEADER 40bytes

FR HEADER 4 bytes

MLPP HEADER 13 bytes

G729 PAYLOAD 160 bytes

TOTAL 217 bytes

217 * 8 = 1736 bits

1736 * 50 = 86,800 BW = 86,8 kbps (Rounded to 87)

---------------------------------------------------------
SCENARIO 4

g729 , cRTP Enabled, MLPPP

RTP HEADER 4 bytes

FR HEADER 4 bytes

MLPP HEADER 13 bytes

G729 PAYLOAD 160 bytes

TOTAL 181 bytes

181 * 8 = 1448 bits

1448 * 50 = 72,400 BW = 72,4 kbps (Rounded to 72)

Christain,
Do you have a table like this for G711 calls? I hate to admit but WAN QoS
is one of my weakest areas, you'd think with 2 other IE's I'd get exposure
to technologies like QOS but nope, not me. :) Thanks.
