Hi Guys, I have questions on the PSTN phone DN.
Table 10 -PSTN phone DN Line 1 emergency 911/999 line 2 HQ PSTN 212-22x-1111 line 3 BRanch 1 PSTN 617-522-2222 line 4 Branch 2 PSTN 331-32x-333 line 5 IDD 011-9-876543 My question is: 1.Is the PSTN phone considered external numbers? 2. Why are the numbers part of HQ, Br1 and BR2? (as in Table 12- Site numbering plan) 3. Don't you have samples of local and LD numbers as part of the dial plan? 4. Does it matter what version of CATOS is used on the 6503? Can I use the latest version? Mine is uisng the IOS, any guides on how to change to CATOS? Need the clarification so I can configure my 3825 to provide both WAN and PSTN backbone. I just managed to get the 911 number working. One suggestion , is there a way to remember the login when I open the PDF file, it is quite irritating to type in all the time. Suresh
