Mark,

There is a forum on Proctorlabs.com titled "EzVPN Information/Config" that says:
----------
Requirements for the EzVPN connectivity to Proctor Labs are:

* A Cisco 851, 1811, 2611XM, or 2811 (or better) series router running 12.4.21 Mainline IOS code.

Please download and load 12.4.21 Mainline IOS code from CCO (login required). Due to bugs in other IOS codes that may cause inconsistencies during your session, this is the *only* IOS that is officially supported.

* 4 7960 IP Phones
----------

First off, I believe we decided that four 7960 phones won't do the trick anymore. We need at least two of them to be 7961s.

Also, I can't find information about which hardware vpn devices are supported... Can I use an 831 router or a Pix 501? What about an 871 router?

Brian

There is and if fact we provide configuration files for you for a number of devices.

I have just created a demo Voice vRack that can always be logged into from a demo account. This will allow all voice users to connect to a demo vRack webpage, see the layout, format, get a feeling for the controls, etc. It will also allow anyone to download the VPN configuration files and perform a actual VPN connection to our "dummy" demo Voice vRack prior to any session you might have. Upon connecting to the VPN - you will only be able to ping two IP addresses (one for each VPN Server Router): 10.10.105.117 and 10.10.105.217. While only being able to ping those two IP's - this should give everyone a much better comfort level in setting up their VPN, and getting comfortable with the Proctor Labs Voice vRack web UI prior to your rack session.

Username and Password to log into http://proctorlabs.com to test are:

Hope this helps!
(p.s. - please unicast me to let me know if this has in fact helped you!)

Cheers,

All,

Is there a list for the supported hardware to setup a hardware vpn to proctorlabs for the CCIE Voice?

My company might be providing an 871 for me. If not, can I use a Cisco 831? How about a PIX firewall?
