Changing the IP Address is a bit more complicated than that.

Try restarting the the server. also restart thr Call manager Server.

did u have a PUB and SUB running ? if yes which one did u change first ?

I have CUCM 7 running on VMWare and I've changed it's IP address using "set
network ip eth0 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0". I've also changed its default
gateway accordingly using "set network gateway". After this when i launch a browser to https://10.1.1.1/ccmadmin and attempt to log in, i get "database communication error" message. What is the reason for this and what can i do
to resolve this?
