So far the most "consistent" way I have found to get a phone on CME converted
to SIP from Skinny is:
1. Unplug the phone(s) to be converted
2. Let you ALL of skinny phones register
Optional - input "no auto-regist" under telephony-service
3. Set up your voice register global,dn, template, and pool and ALL the tftp
commands for the SIP phone and image
4. Under telephony-service change the load command to the SIP image name
5. Plug in the phones to be converted - they will load the sip image after
about a 2 minute delay - do a debug tftfp event to see the interchange
6. If your voice register and tftp commands are correct the phone should
register in a few minutes
7. be sure to change the load statement under telephony-service back to the
SCCP image name.
There may be better ways - but this seems to work everytime without a huge
delay - although it is NOT as fast as getting a skinny phone up.
Cheers!
