That was it. Calling party transform got me again. VM Pilot already had a 5-digit mask on it (my dial-plan is 5 digits) Thought that would have taken care of things since I got burned on that before. That mindset and a lack of sleep as usual caused this.
I'll have to investigate that more. Thanks for the help. ________________________________ From: Aamir Panjwani [[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, September 06, 2009 1:27 AM To: Michael Ciarfello; [email protected] Subject: RE: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Vol1,11.5 - VM in AAR mode - Messages button plays opening greeting I think I vaguely remember running into this a while ago. If you run port monitor in RTMT and then make a test call you might see 10 digit ANI which is why unity plays opening greeting. Try adding alternate extension with whatever ANI you see in port monitor or set the calling party transformation mask to XXXX on the voicemail pilot so that unity always receive 4 digit ANI only From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michael Ciarfello Sent: Sunday, 6 September 2009 3:13 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Vol1,11.5 - VM in AAR mode - Messages button plays opening greeting Call forward to BR1 phone over AAR works. Plays the correct mailbox. Pressing the messages button while in AAR mode gives the opening greeting instead of the mailbox. Is this correct? The redirecting number is 5600 in the Br1 ISDN output when press messages button. Thought I read something about this once. Never put it in my notes and forgot where I saw it.
