In lab 3 Q 2.5 the question asked that incoming calls should reflect the
following
1. Same area code = 7 digit
2. Same country = 10 digit
3. Different country = international prefix and country codec plus remainder
of digits
and follow up question stated that the missed and received call should
display the caller's number in full E164 format
( Solution provided did not accomplish these goals as the calls are not
coming in in e164 format and therefore will not match calling transformation
configured on the device pool) see excerpt below:
Bearer Capability i = 0x8090A2
Standard = CCITT
Transfer Capability = Speech
Transfer Mode = Circuit
Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s
Channel ID i = 0xA98381
Exclusive, Channel 1
Progress Ind i = 0x8583 - Origination address is non-ISDN
Calling Party Number i = 0x2180, '2123942123'

Called Party Number i = 0xA1, '6178631002'

I presume this calls leads to question 2.6, since these calls are not coming
in E164 format i dont see how 2.6 can be accomplished
Also in Q 2.7 and 2.8 the solutions are provided in full E614 number with
the + which is not dialable on the phone. are you suppose to call in to your
pod to test these questions or dial the numbers on the ip phone, my
understanding of the question is that the numbers are to be dialed but here
again the solution was provided in full E164......
Vik, can you clarify?
