Question 5.6 WLC QoS asks for: "If the channel utilization is more than 50%, block additional clients in that area from connecting to Sec1"
The answer given is for Admission Control to be enabled, Max RF Bandwidth (%) set to 50 and Reserved Roaming Bandwidth (%) to 6. My understanding with this configuration is the Max allowed bandwidth will infact be: Max RF Bandwidth - Reserved Roaming Bandwidth = 50 - 6 = 44% So in actual fact when the RF is at 44% and an ADDTS is sent by the phone it will get a network busy. The reason being is the AP needs to save 6% for roaming clients. I believe the answer should be Max RF Bandwidth 50% with Roaming of 0% or Max RF Bandwidth of 56% and roaming of 6%. Thoughts.. comments ? Regards, Leigh.
