Its my opinion at this point and time you should plan for the V2 Written and
Lab.
I passed my written back in may, I have attempted the V1 LAB once on Aug
30th 2011. I have to wait 5 months to retake the test because there are no
open lab seats in San Jose or RTP.
If you are international, you may find more available seats.

Hello All,
I've just started prep for the CCIE Written and i am a little confused about
the versions of the exams that i will have to take. Please correct me if i'm
wrong in my understanding.
If i take the v1 written exam on/before Nov17th, 2011 , i will have to take
the v1 lab. Otherwise, i will have to study for the v2 written and the v2
lab.
How about re-attempts? Which version will be taking then?
