You are right. That was either an error in the workbook, or an error in the initial configs. Or maybe it was an intentional thing that your were supposed to have to troubleshoot.
Either way, good job finding the root of the issue. When it comes time to do the lab, you will find multiple pre-configured mistakes that you'll need to rectify in order to pass.
