True, the IPexpert wireless racks do not have 6500s in them.  But the NAC
appliance and WiSM controllers are not in the current lab version.  You can
see the version 2 lab hardware and software versions at the link below.

In regards to the need for hands on practice on a 6500, there's not too
much in the blueprint that requires it.  The only 6500 specific item is
VSS.  It is good to keep in mind that this is not the R&S lab, and advanced
wired configs really aren't in play.  So I wouldn't worry about needing to
know any more than a basic VSS setup.  You should be able to find that in
the 6500 IOS config guide and you can use that as a cheat sheet if you end
up needing to configure it in the lab.

The other stuff can all be done on most any layer 3 IOS switch out there.
 There are small differences that you would see on the 6500, like ports
being in routed mode by default.  Also, you'd see QoS queuing differences
on the 6500 ports.  But if you know where to look up the information, you
should be able to get by on most any 6500 specific configs.
