There really is no best practice in this case. But to support multiple AP models in the same subnet, you just need to define multiple option 241 (60) entries in the scope.
I honestly like to avoid configuring option 60 for my customers. I have yet to run into the need to return different controller lists based on AP models. Also, customers tend to forget about option 60 and have troubles when it comes time to introduce a new AP model in their network.
