Did not pass my first attempt. I did perform better than anticpated. Here
is my first attempt experience....

I went in with 2 weeks of online bootcamp given by Jeff Rensink at
IPExpert. This gave me a big boost and put me on a course to even think of
passing. Before that I had good understanding of all topics except QOS/VOIP
and with 6 years of wired and wireless experience. I paid myself for
training with 2 weeks off because I have a personal deadline to get this
off my back. Tired of answering to my 5 year old kid on why I am not
playing and doing homework all weekend.

Lab is a beauty in a sense like a video game...there are landmines in every
section. As you fix the traps the next question can be answered. There are
no shortcuts to pass the lab..You cannot pass the wireless lab by
braindumps.

Basic routing, switching with plenty of troubleshooting. I spent 15 mins
going over the lab and started working.
Autonomous was basic config and few commandline options. Again
troubleshooting.
Unified section was integrated with ACS tasks and Jeff pretty much nailed
the concepts.Again troubleshooting.
At the end I verified all SSID's through my windows client. Not sure why I
got 40% in unified. Other sections were pretty much inline on what I
expected.

I knew that passing exam was not possible so I spent more than 1hour on one
question related to MSE and finally got it.

In general there was no time management issue for me. Could be that I have
R&S background at work mainly wired troubleshooting. Once you fix the trap
and know the wireless concept it does not take lot of time for actual
wireless config. Going in for next time...I will rent IPExpert racks and
practice their material and Cisco Tech notes.
