Marvin,

If you haven't already, join the machine to the domain. Make sure that in the
supplicant setup (WlanZeroConf) you are configuring for using machine
credentials.

Unless you are using a non-native client (such as Cisco AnyConnect), you don't
need to specify a username/password combination (a la "host/machine-name")--the
native Windows client will handle the machine credentials handshake in the
background for you. Windows XP and Windows Vista/7 are slightly different in
setup, but you will see the option to use machine auth on both platforms if you
look near where you configure the 802.1X/PEAP option.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Wireless] Machine Authentication with PEAP

I have a question about the credentials for machine authentication using PEAP
with a native Microsoft wireless client. I know that the user name is
host/machine-name but can someone please tell me how to configure the
corresponding password on the client?

Thanks.
