Thanks for this answer Jeff. I try to limit the scope of my study and not
go too deep if it's not worth it.

But if you think so, I need to go a bit deeper because I'm not comfortable
at all with multicast for the moment.

I think I begin to have the idea behind RPF, static multicast routing and
PIM.

For those interested, here is a good and simple article from Cisco to
understand how multicast routing works, based on unicast routing:

However I need to work again on the auto-RP and MSDP features.
