If you want that clean air info taken into account in the RRM process, then you want to check the box to avoid persistent non-wifi interference. I think the config guide has an error when it says that checking the box ignores that information.
Here is a link to a Cisco slide deck talking about clean air. Jump to slide 43 and it starts talking about persistent device avoidance. http://www.slideshare.net/Cisco_Mobility/understanding-cleanair-technology-to-improve-enterprise-wlan-spectrum-management Regards, Jeff Rensink : Sr Instructor : iPexpert <http://www.ipexpert.com/> CCIE # 24834 :: Wireless / R&S :: World-Class Cisco Certification Training Direct: +1.810.326.1444 :: Free Videos <http://www.youtube.com/ipexpertinc> :: Free Training / Product Offerings <http://www.facebook.com/ipexpert> :: CCIE Blog <http://blog.ipexpert.com/> :: Twitter <http://www.twitter.com/ipexpert> On Tue, Jan 14, 2014 at 6:00 AM, Waqas Akhtar <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > We have a situation using cisco clean air access points and we want to > include the effect of non-wifi interference in dynamic channel assignment > algorithm. > > i think it can be achieved using "Avoid persistent non-wifi interference" > under WIRELESS/DCA tab.
